Chinese professional basketball player for the Houston Rockets of the National Basketball Association. He is best known for playing the position of Center.
He began earning recognition for his playing when he joined the Youth team and won the TBF International Under-16 Tournament in 2011. After earning representation from Xinjiang Flying Tigers, he was drafted to the Houston Rockets in 2017.
He has received a medal for representing China in the FIBA Asia Championship in Changsha in 2015. He was also awarded the CBA Defensive Player of the Year in 2017.
He was born and raised in Xinxiang, Henan, China.
