Veteran NHL defenseman that was originally selected by the Buffalo Sabres as a fourth round pick in 2015. He was later acquired by the Seattle Kraken via the NHL expansion draft in July 2021. He has also played for the United States men's national hockey team during his career.
He previously played college hockey at St. Cloud State University. In 2018, he was named the NCHC's 'Best Defenseman.'
He made his official NHL debut while playing against the Columbus Blue Jackets during the 2018-2019 regular season. Unfortunately, he and the Sabres lost his debut by a score of 4-0.
