He was known for his minor roles in movies, usually as bums or average working class types, and was most famous for his role as Crazy Ralph in the horror classic Friday the 13th. He also had a long and successful career on stage, appearing in the world premiere of "If Five Years Pass" and the Broadway plays "Scratch" and "Trelawny of the Wells". Gorney passed away in 2004 at the age of 91 after a long illness.
