She later switched to snowboarding. Her brother, Ben, is also a successful snowboarder, and has been her coach since the beginning. She began to make a name for herself as a Halfpipe competitor in the early 2000s, and by 2004, was finishing atop the leader board at multiple competitions. She has placed 1st in Halfpipe at numerous Burton Opens, and was the Burton Global Champion in 2007. She has also placed first in Slopestyle and Superpipe competitions.
