The couple offered relationship advice in a series of books and workshops called Teach Me How to Love You. In 2007 Weeks was accused of domestic violence. Bynum started calling herself the "new face of domestic violence" and the two battled in court. Weeks' father was a pastor and bishop. Thomas studied at the University of Delaware and the Christian International College of Theology. He became ordained as an elder in the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World. Weeks established the Global Destiny Church in Washington, D.C. in 1997. In 2003 the church launched MyGlobal Destiny.com. He has also been a church administrator, assistant pastor, and bishop at New Destiny Fellowship. Thomas re-married to "prophetess" Christina Glenn Weeks in 2009.
