He began appearing in television commercials at a young age and went on to study at the High School of the Performing Arts in New York and graduated from New York State University. He gained recognition in films such as The Flamingo Kid (1984) and As the World Turns (1956). He also starred in the sitcom Wings (1990) and made appearances in films such as Single White Female (1992), The Temp (1993), and Leaving Las Vegas (1995). He also starred in the TV-movie version of Stephen King's horror classic The Shining (1997) and won a Saturn award for his performance. Weber has also appeared in plays such as "Throwing Your Voice," "Something in the Air" and "Design for Living." He has also given voice to a few animated film and TV characters. In 2006, he returned to Stephen King territory with two major TV projects. Weber is married to actress/TV executive Juliette Hohnen and they have two children, Jack and Alfie.
