Osip Mandelstam was a Russian poet and essayist born on January 15, 1891. He was a member of the Russian Acmeist School of poets and his works include the poetry collections Kamen and Stikhotvoreniya 1921–1925, and the prose works Razgovor o Dante and Chetvertaya Proza.
