Member of the Australian five-piece pop punk group Tonight Alive who were listed as one of the top 10 Australian bands in 2010.
He was not an original member of the band. Tonight Alive lost their first Drummer after only a year and then found Best who was a high school friend of Guitarist Whakaio Taahi.
In 2015 he was diagnosed with tendinosis after sustaining an injury to his wrist during one of his performances.
