Dr. Naughton is an engineer and took the company to become the largest manufacturer of domestic heating appliances in the world. The business operates plants in the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, and Northern America. Naughton holds shares in the Merrion Hotel Group and the Sunday Tribune newspaper.
Naughton funds an annual scholarship program at his alma matter and donates to Trinity College Dublin and the University of Notre Dame. He is married and has three children.
