Jon Cooper is a Canadian hockey coach who was born on August 23, 1976 in Prince George, Canada. He is best known for leading the Tampa Bay Lightning to the 2015 Stanley Cup Finals, where they ultimately lost to the Chicago Blackhawks. Cooper took over as head coach of the Lightning at the end of the 2012-2013 season after the firing of Guy Boucher.
