Willie Rushton was a British cartoonist, satirical writer, actor, and comedian born on August 18, 1937 in England. He was best known for his appearances on the BBC series That Was the Week That Was (TW3) and for founding the satirical magazine Private Eye. He was a major figure in British comedy and satire in the 20th century.
