Before Fame
From 1980-85 he attended Philadelphia College of Art as well as spending a year abroad at the Tyler School of Art in Rome. He went on to study Political Science at the University of Pennsylvania. Immediately after graduating from the Philadelphia College of Art, now University of the Arts, he made his first exhibition opening for Andy Warhol in 1985 at the Henry S. McNeil Gallery.
