He then stage managed variety acts at the Cedar Point Amusement Park and began to hunt for books on acting. His first professional jobs came from regional theatre, and he eventually moved to New York City to pursue acting. He has since appeared in a variety of roles on stage, television, and film, and is a member of the Actor's Studio and the Ensemble Studio Theater. He also serves on the Board of the HB Playwrights Foundation and teaches at HB Studios.
