Cricketer who, along with his team, took the bronze medal at the 2010 Asian Games in China. He made his international debut for the Pakistan cricket team in November of 2020. He is a bowler, with a right-arm leg break and left-handed batting. In September of 2021, he was named one of three traveling reserve players in Pakistan's squad for the 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup.
After taking bronze at the 2010 Asian Games, he moved to Australia and played for the Adelaide Cricket Club. In 2018, he made his debut for Western Australia, helping them take first at the 2018-19 JLT One-Day Cup. He began playing for Pakistan in January of 2020.
It was during his debut match for Pakistan that he picked up his first international wicket. He had originally stated in 2018 that he would like to gain citizenship in Australia and to play for them permanently. In November of 2022, he was inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame.
He is the son of Abdul Qadir, a famous Pakistani leg spinner. He uncle and three brothers have also played first-class cricket. He married actress Sobia Khan in 2018. He has a sister named Noor.
Umar Akmal became his brother-in-law when he married his sister, Noor.
