English cricketer known for playing internationally for the England team and domestically for the Sussex team. He helped England win the 2022 T20 World Cup.
He was educated at the Mildenhall College of Technology. He played for the Mildenhall Cricket Club while he was there. He studied sports journalism at the University of East London before dropping out to play cricket full-time. He made his domestic debut against Sri Lanka in a domestic game in the year 2011.
He was diagnosed with a congenital back problem in the year 2015, which means he can't play red ball cricket. He had to wear a back brace in the winter of 2020 to recover from a fracture caused by this problem. He is interested in returning to journalism upon his retirement from playing.
