Tomas Hirsch is a Chilean liberal businessman and politician who was born on July 19, 1956. He is best known for helping to found the Humanist Party, the first political party legalized under Augusto Pinochet's dictatorship. In 2005, he ran for president of Chile in the presidential election, though he was unsuccessful.
