Mark Herrier was born in Lompoc, California and from a young age was inspired to pursue a career in acting after watching The Music Man (1962). He trained at the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts, University of Washington Professional Actor's Training Program, and studied with artists like Robert Lewis. He worked in regional theaters in Seattle and New York, eventually landing a role in Porky's (1981). He then went on to act in Brigadoon and Macbeth on Broadway, and Sister Mary Ignatius off Broadway. After a successful career in acting, Mark now lives in California with his family and has shifted his focus to writing and directing.
