Kevork Malikyan is a British actor of Armenian descent, born in Diyarbakir in 1943. After seven years of training for priesthood at the Holy Cross Seminary in Istanbul, he went on to receive his acting and teaching qualifications from Rose Bruford College in 1964-67. He is best known for his roles in the films Midnight Express and Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade, as well as the popular TV series Mind Your Language, which attracted 18 million viewers weekly.

Malikyan graduated from the Surp Haç Armenian High School in İstanbul, then moved to London in 1963 for acting education. At the drama school Rose Bruford College, he received diplomas for acting and teaching. He now lives in İstanbul, where he also works as a Teacher.

Malikyan played a number of roles in the RSC production, Arabian Nights (December 2009 – January 2010), at the Courtyard Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire.
