John Martino was born in Brooklyn, New York and began his singing and acting career as a teenager. He had a hit song and appeared on Dick Clark's American Bandstand, then moved to California to pursue his acting career. His big break came when he was cast in Mario Puzo's "The Godfather" as "Paulie Gatto." Throughout his career, John has acted, sung, written, and produced, and in 2006 he won a Crystal Reel Award for best lead actor for his part in the feature film "Confessions of a Thug." He is also licensed through Paramount Pictures to manufacture Godfather license plates, frames, and key chains.
