Founding member of the American rock band My Chemical Romance, whose 2006 album, The Black Parade, went platinum and featured songs such as "Famous Last Words." In 2014 he signed as a solo Artist with Warner Bros and released the debut song "Action Cat."
He played the role of Peter Pan in his elementary school play and pursued a career as a comic book Writer. He got a degree in fine arts from New York City's School of Visual Arts.
Aside from his rock career, he also wrote the Eisner Award-winning comic book The Umbrella Academy.
He married Lindsey Ann Ballato, Bassist of the band Mindless Self Indulgence, in September 2007. In 2009, they had a daughter named Bandit. He is joined by his brother Mikey Way in My Chemical Romance.
