She competed in the Miss Dominican Republic pageant as a representative of the Distrito Nacional region. Originally the first runner-up in the competition, she received the Miss Dominican Republic title after the competition's winner, Carola Durán, lost the crown as a result of having been previously married.
She competed in the 2012 Miss Universe pageant but was eliminated in one of the competition's later rounds.
