Professional relief pitcher that was drafted by the Detroit Tigers during the fourth round of the 2012 Major League Draft. He was later signed by the St. Louis Cardinals in March 2022. During his professional career, he has also played in Japan's Nippon Professional Baseball league.
He initially began his college career playing baseball at the University of Oklahoma. He later transferred to Navarro Community College and then Vanderbilt University.
He made his official major league debut pitching against the Cleveland Guardians on July 19, 2014, as a member of the Tigers. He pitched just over five innings and recorded four strikeouts.
Growing up, he lived with his parents in the Rockwall, Texas area. He is one of three siblings.
He played college baseball at Vanderbilt alongside Mike Yastrzemski.
