NHL defenseman originally taken as a fourth round pick in the 2015 draft by the New Jersey Devils. He would eventually sign a multi-year deal with the Anaheim Ducks in July of 2022.
He first began playing hockey as a young boy growing up. He was later given the opportunity to play in the Ontario Junior Hockey League for the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds as a teenager in 2013.
He made his official NHL debut while playing against the Edmonton Oilers on March 13, 2019. He and the Devils won his debut match with a score of 6-3. Following his fifth season within the Devils, he left as a free agent and was signed to a two-year, two-way contract with the Anaheim Ducks.
He grew up living with his parents and siblings in the London, Ontario area.
He played alongside Nico Hischier as a member of the Devils during the 2019-2020 NHL season.
