Chuck Mitchell was a 6'3" hulk of a man with a deep voice and scruffy demeanor, often cast as hostile and/or despicable characters. He was well-known for his roles in the comedies Porky's (1981) and Porky's Revenge (1985), Don't Answer the Phone! (1980), and Better Off Dead... (1985). He also had a recurring role on the soap opera General Hospital (1963) and guest spots on Hill Street Blues (1981), Remington Steele (1982), The Fall Guy (1981), and Bret Maverick (1981). In addition to acting, Mitchell was also a singer and stand-up comedian. He passed away in 1992 due to liver cirrhosis.
