Chuck Dressen was an American baseball manager born on September 20, 1898 in Decatur, IL. He is best known for his time as the manager of the Brooklyn Dodgers during their early 1950s "Boys of Summer" seasons. He was known for his innovative strategies and his ability to get the most out of his players. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1971.
