Catherine Breshkovsky, born on January 13, 1844 in Belarus, was a Russian socialist and revolutionary who was affectionately known as the "Grandmother of the Russian Revolution". After the October Revolution, she was forced to flee and eventually died in Czechoslovakia. She was remembered for her dedication to the cause of the Russian Revolution and her commitment to the people of Russia.
