Bud Wilkinson was an American football coach born on April 23, 1916 in Minneapolis, MN. He is best known for his time as the head coach of the Oklahoma Sooners football team from 1947 to 1963, during which time the team won three national championships and 14 conference titles. He is considered one of the greatest college football coaches of all time.
