Bud Collyer was a radio and game show host born on June 18, 1908 in New York City, NY. He was best known for hosting the popular game show, Break the Bank, which ran from 1945 to 1955. He was also the first host of the game show To Tell the Truth, which ran from 1956 to 1968. Collyer was a beloved figure in the entertainment industry and was inducted into the Television Hall of Fame in 1989.
