Arthur Balfour was a British Conservative Party politician born on July 25, 1848 in Scotland. He served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom from 1902 to 1905, and afterwards held a number of other political offices, such as Leader of the Opposition, First Lord of the Admiralty, Foreign Secretary, and Lord President of the Council.
