Anthony Azizi is an actor and miscellaneous crew member who was born in New York City in 1924. He began his career as a child, acting in plays for the Touchstone Theater and writing and staging his own plays at the age of eight. He attended Freedom High School and Muhlenberg College, where he received his BFA in Theater Arts and starred in the world premier of Jim Ryan's "South Pacific Snow". After graduating, he moved to New York and then to Los Angeles, where he quickly began working in film and television. His first big break came in 1996 when he was cast in the Universal feature McHale's Navy. He has since starred in Three Kings, For Richer or Poorer, Tomcats, The Lost Battalion, Threat Matrix, Dragnet, NYPD Blue, The Shield, The West Wing, Gilmore Girls, 24, Desperate Housewives, Commander in Chief, CSI Miami, Without a Trace, Sleeper Cell, and Criminal Minds. In 2006, he starred opposite Tony Shalhoub in the film AmericanEast. He is currently recurring on the hit TV series Lost. Anthony is married to Cymbeline Smith, an actress from England, and they have twin boys. He is a member of the Baha'i Faith.
