Alan Ameche was an American football player born on March 1, 1933 in Kenosha, WI. He won the 1954 Heisman Trophy and went on to play for the Baltimore Colts from 1955 to 1960. He was a fullback and was known for his powerful running style. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1975.
