Born in Moline, Illinois, she was discovered at the age of 11 and was compared to Grace Kelly. She starred in Across the Great Divide, The Sea Gypsies, and the Wilderness Family films, and had recurring roles on The Guiding Light and As the World Turns. She also appeared in Basket Case 2. In her free time, she enjoys riding and caring for animals, and is the younger sister of actor Laird Macintosh.
