Grant Hart was an American musician and songwriter born on March 18, 1961 in Minnesota. He was best known for his work with the alternative rock and hardcore punk band Hüsker Dü, which he co-founded in 1979. He was the drummer and vocalist for the band, and wrote many of their songs. He released several solo albums after the band's breakup in 1988.
