Giovanni Lombardo Radice is an Italian actor and writer who achieved cult favorite status for his portrayal of sick, sleazy, and eccentric characters in 1980's Italian splatter pictures. He began acting on stage at age seventeen and made his fright film debut in Ruggero Deodato's "The House on the Edge of the Park". He was also seen in Antonio Margheriti's "Cannibal Apocalypse", Lucio Fulci's "City of the Living Dead", Umberto Lenzi's "Cannibal Ferox", and Michele Soavi's "Stagefright". He can be seen in Martin Scorsese's "Gangs of New York" and had a small part in the recent "The Omen" remake. Outside of acting, Lombardo Radice has directed and translated both English and French language plays, penned screenplays, and directed operas.
