He played football and wrestled at Morgan State University where he was an All American. Yarborough held the Guinness World Record for the heaviest living athlete at a maximum weight of 882 pounds. He won the World Amateur Sumo Championship in 1995 and was a professional wrestler in Germany as well. Yarborough competed at UFC 3 in 1994 where he lost to Keith Hackney. He finished his MMA career with a record of 1 – 2. He held a brown belt in judo and in commercials for Motorola and in an episode of the TV series Oz.
