Donald Malarkey was an American paratrooper born on July 31, 1921 in Oregon. He was a member of Easy Company, the subject of the miniseries Band of Brothers, and was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star for his service in World War II. Malarkey was a highly decorated soldier and a true American hero.
