Becky Quick was born in Indiana in July 1972. Her family moved around as her child was a geologist. They settled in Medford, New Jersey. Quick graduated with a BA in Political Science from Rutgers University. While at Rutgers she was the editor-in-chief of The Daily Targum. At Rutgers she was awarded the Times Mirror Fellowship from the Journalism Resources Institute. While working for The Wall Street Journal, Quick helped launch their website in 1996. She became the International News Editor for the website. In 2005 Rebecca Quick became the anchorwoman for the CNBC show Squawk Box.
