Assi Rahbani was a Lebanese composer, musician, and producer born on May 4, 1923 in Antelias, Lebanon. He was one-half of the Rahbani Brothers, a musical act that became one of the most famous in the Arab World during the 1960s. His brother Mansour Rahbani was the other half of the duo.
