Antti Niemi is a Finnish professional ice hockey goaltender who was born on August 29, 1983 in Vantaa, Finland. He made history in 2010 when he became the first Finnish goaltender to win a Stanley Cup after helping the Chicago Blackhawks to victory. After the 2010 season, he signed with the San Jose Sharks and won 30-plus games with them for three of the next four years. In 2015, he was traded to the Dallas Stars.
