Martial Artist who is famous as one of the foremost Brazilian jiu jitsu black belt grapplers in the world. She won the International Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation (IBJJF)'s World No-Gi Championship in 2015, as well as the World Championship as a brown belt in 2014.
She first saw a jiu jitsu bout in 2003. She began practicing in 2004.
She won the 2015 IBJJF European Open Championship. She twice won the IBJJF World Pans Championship as a brown belt in 2013 and 2014 on her way to earning her black belt promotion in 2015.
She married fellow Brazilian jiu jitsu practitioner Andre Galvao. She shares one daughter with him.
She was cheered on at her 2014 World Championship victory by mixed martial arts legend Anderson Silva.
