Andreas Thorkildsen is a Norwegian javelin thrower born on April 1, 1982. He is a two-time Olympic champion, having won gold medals in the javelin throw at the 2004 and 2008 Olympic Games. He is the first Norwegian to win two Olympic gold medals in the same event.
